Accommodation Details THIS HOME is situated in a community called Eagle Pointe, Kissimmee, on the outskirts of Orlando. We also offer similar alternative, high quality homes in the Crescent Lakes and Oak Island Cove communities. Other areas are also available if requested. We have around 100 homes available for rental.
Our home is a typical example:
A spacious detached residence that enjoys a pleasant lakeside position. The villa is fully furnished to a very high standard and features:
- 'Florida screen' enclosed heated private pool;
- covered porch and large pool deck;
- air-conditioning throughout;
- large 'two car' garage;
- three bedrooms and two bathrooms;
- ceiling fans in the lounge and all bedrooms;
- 'volume' ceilings in all the living rooms;
- 7Mb high-speed cable internet access.
A large entrance hall leads to the living areas.
The Lounge (Great Room)
The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating. It has a hi-fi system, and a large Cable TV, with a DVD player.Patio doors provide access to a covered porch area and the pool deck.
Our home is a typical layout
Dining Areas (Dining Room & Nook) The villa has three dining areas. A formal area, adjacent to the lounge, has a large table and seating for six people. The café nook area in the kitchen has a smaller table with seating for four people. Further seating is available at the breakfast bar, which has two bar stools. Finally, a table and chairs are provided in the covered porch to allow you to eat by the pool.
The Kitchen The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped allowing you to prepare anything from a simple welcoming drink to a more elaborate meal. Facilities include:
- electric oven;
- large separate microwave oven;
- giant fridge/freezer with icemaker;
- dishwasher;
- double sink with waste disposal;
Telephone and Internet Access The telephone is located in the kitchen. Long distance calls can be made using a credit card facility and local calls are free. We offer Broadband Cable Internet access if you need it during your stay. We can even arrange for the rental of a computer if you are not bringing your own.
Laundry Facilities There is a separate laundry room off the kitchen and garage, which has a washing machine and a tumble-dryer. We also provide an ironing board and iron.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom has an American king-size bed, remote control colour TV, radio alarm clock and ceiling fan. The en suite bathroom has twin basins, shower cubicle, bath, separate toilet and a large
walk-in closet. Bedrooms two and three share the second bathroom, which has a bath with shower, basin and toilet. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and remote control colour TV, the other has twin beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, and ample drawer and wardrobe space.
The Den The 'Den' completes the living accommodation. It has a queen-size sofa bed on which to relax and get that quiet moment away from the family! It also contains additional closet space.
Covered Porch and Pool Deck
The patio doors from The Great Room lead to the covered lanai (with ceiling fan) and pool deck. We provide sun-loungers, reclining chairs, plus table and chairs. The rear of the home faces southwest and offers beautiful lake views.
The pool area is fully enclosed by a Florida fly screen. The fly screen allows the sun to shine through, while keeping the insects out and privacy screening and plants offers some seclusion and privacy from neighbouring homes.
The pool is offset in the deck, allowing more room than usual around the pool area. The pool is 26' x 13' and has a semi-formal shape with steps into the shallow end. The pool slopes gently from 3' to 5.5'. It can be illuminated for that early morning or evening swim.
General Items We also provide coat hangers in each closet, bed linen, plenty of bath and pool towels, child cot, highchair, one hairdryer, a first aid kit, smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher.
Florida State Safety Standards Our villa is licensed for rental by the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants and has reached AAA recognition, which means that the villa is in full compliance with state safety standards. These include: smoke detectors; a fire extinguisher and an alarm on the doors from the lounge to the pool deck.
Location Eagle Pointe is on Poinciana Boulevard 3 miles south of the 192. It is an easy 20 minutes drive from Orlando International Airport, using just 3 main roads! The Eagle Pointe community is set in a protected wooded area with a pretty lakeside setting.
The Walt Disney™ World Resort - comprising Magic Kingdom™, Epcot Centre™, MGM Studios™, Pleasure Island™, Animal Kingdom™ and the Disney water parks - is just a 15 minute drive away. The community is close to the other area attractions and plenty of excellent shopping.The other major theme parks of SeaWorld®, Universal Studios® and Islands of Adventure™ are only 20 minutes north of Eagle Pointe.
